NEW YORK, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Orange Is The New Black star Lea DeLaria stood up for herself and her fellow metro riders on a New York City train Tuesday and demanded that a Bible preacher stop annoying everyone aboard.

In a video published by TMZ, DeLaria can be heard yelling at a man that he "has no right" to be preaching about the Bible on the subway and said "other people believe other things and have every right to believe other things in this planet on this world."

"You do not have to be forced by this man's religious beliefs," DeLaria continued, now talking to the train's passengers.

The actress later tells the preacher that "Jesus never said for you to do this. Ever," and challenges him to find a place in the Bible where it says he's supposed to impose his faith on others. At this point, the man engaged her in conversation and the two go back and forth on the subject.

"Don't come at me because I went to [expletive] Catholic school for 12 years and I know every line," she said later.

When the man continues to preach, DeLaria raises her voice over his and declares: "You do now have the right to do this, this is mass transportation and as long as you keep talking sir ... I'll keep talking."

"So if you want to press your faith go onto another train," she says at the end of the video.

DeLaria, a comedian, singer and actress, is best known for playing Carrie 'Big Boo' Black on Netflix's OITNB.
